Nasir-ud- Daulah Nizam of Hyderabad born

Mir Farqunda Ali Khan commonly known as Nasir-ud-Daulah is born in Bidar, Karnataka on April 25, 1794. He was famous by the name of Nasir-ud-Daulah. He has laid foundations of Hyderabad Medical School in 1846. Inherited a week Kingdom he signed a treaty with the British during the reign of Governor-General the Earl of Dalhousie. the British agreed to liquidate all of his debts in return for ceding part of his territory to the British.

Women International Master Jayshree Kadilkar born

Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on April 25, 1962, Jaysharee is an Indian chess player who was awarded the FIDE title of Woman International Master (WIM) in 1979 and became the first Indian woman to achieve this award. She is also the editor, printer, and publisher of Nava Kaal newspaper.

Maurice Gwyer

British lawyer Judge Maurice Gwyer is born on April 25, 1878. He served as Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University from 1938 to 1950, and Chief Justice of India from 1937 to 1943). He has founded the prestigious college Miranda House in 1948 in Delhi, India.

Maharaja of Jaipur Jai Singh III

Born in Jaipur Jai Singh III is born on April 25, 1819. He has served as the Maharaja of Jaipur State from 1819 until 1835.

1: The Launch of Easter Rebellion

We all know that the British empire was spawned over many countries in the name of development and the industrial revolution, they ruled many countries of the world over hundreds of years. During the second world war crises, most of the occupied countries got independence. On this day in 1916, an Irish secret organization named as the Irish Republic Brotherhood launched Easter Rebellion in Dublin. It was an armed uprising against the British rule.

2: Establishment of Congress Library

On 24th April 1800, President John Adams approved a bill of $5,000 to purchase books that will be needed by the congress. So, on this day they established a library and named it Library of Congress. The books were ordered from London and arrived in 1801.

3: The Rescue Operation of Iran

Everyone among us knows the bitter bilateral relations between America and Iran, but did you know the case wasn’t same before?  Both have shared great relations in the past, especially during the war of terror on Iraq; Iran was a great supporter of America in that war. On April 24, 1980, the rescue operation of 52 American hostages was called off by the then President of America. The operation was a total failure and resulted in the death of 8 U.S servicemen while flying back to America. The operation lasted for almost six months and the hostages were still held for 270 days.

4: Knighting of Winston Churchill

3:  Ever since the world has come to know the Great Britain, everyone knows the importance of the Queen’s Dynasty in the British Constitution. On this day in 1953; during the crisis of world war II, the British leader was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. The leader had guided the British empire throughout the second world war.
