Indian Film Producer Dadasaheb Phalke born

On April 30, 1870, Dadasaheb Phalke is born in Nasik, Maharashtra. His real name was Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, popularly known as Dadasaheb Phalke. He was an Indian producer-director-screenwriter, known as the Father of Indian cinema. He made his debut film, Raja Harishchandra. In his career, he made 95 feature-length films and 27 short films. Government of India in 1969 The Dadasaheb Phalke Award, for lifetime contribution to cinema in his honor.

Indian Philanthropist T.M.A Pai born

On April 30, 1898, in Udupi, Karnataka, T.M.A. Pai was an Indian doctor, educationist, banker and philanthropist. He was first to start a private, self-financing medical college offering MBBS in India. He laid foundation of many colleges In different states. Along with his brother Pai, established Syndicate bank.

Rohit Gurunath Sharma

Indian Cricketer Rohit Sharma was born April 30, 1987, in Nagpur Maharashtra. He played for Mumbai in domestic cricket and captains Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Rohit Sharma is also a great environmental supporter. He is the official Rhino Ambassador of WWF-India.
