4. A new Observatory named as the Himalayan Cloud Observatory was set up in Tehri district of Uttarakhand for receiving forecast and monitor cloud burst incidents in the Himalayan region.
5. The Great Indian Bustard has been chosen as the mascot for the 13th UN Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species.
6. Foundation Stone for Sree Narayana Guru was laid down by the Union Tourism Minister KJ Alphons in the spiritual pilgrimage circuit Varkala,Kerala.
7. Hindi has been added as the 3rd official language to be spoken in the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department alongside Arabic and English.
8. The Health Ministry has notified 8 medical equipment comprising of all implantable devices as ‘Drugs’ under section 3 of the ‘Drugs and Cosmetics Acts’ with effect from April 1, 2020.
9. AMAN-19 the Multinational Maritime Exercise was conducted by Pakistan Navy at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard, Karachi.
10. Suresh Prabhu the Union Commerce Minister has launched the Hirkani Maharashtrachi Scheme that provides a platform for women‘s Self Help Groups and the District Business Plan Competition to boost entrepreneurship in Maharashtra.
