1907 –  Birth Anniversary of Late Bhagat Singh

Bhagat Singh was a youthful Indian socialist revolutionary, who assumed a significant part in altering India’s Independence development. He was born on 28 September 1907 in Banga, now located in Pakistan. He belonged to a Jat Sikh family and contemplated European progressive developments that created in him an inclination towards Marxist philosophies. 1929- Birth Anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar

Lata Mangeshkar ( 28 September 1929) is an Indian playback vocalist and music chief. She is extraordinary compared to other known and most regarded playback artists in India. She has recorded tunes in more than 36 local Indian dialects mostly in Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, and Assamese. She was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1989 and also with Bharat Ratna in 2001  by the Government of India. France gave her its most noteworthy regular citizen grant, the Officer of the Legion of Honor, in 2007, and in 1974, she turned into the primary Indian to act in the Royal Albert Hall.

1837 – Crowning of Bahadur Shah Zafar

Bahadur Shah Zafar or Bahadur Shah II was the last Mughal ruler. He was the second child of Akbar II and was crowned as the last ruler of the Mughal Dynasty on 28 September 1837 after the death of his father, Akbar II. He was an ostensible Emperor, as the Mughal Empire existed in the name just, and his power was restricted distinctly to the walled city of Red Fort and Old Delhi.

1928 – Discovery of Penicillin

Dr. Alexander Fleming, a teacher of bacteriology in London, accidentally found the anti-microbial penicillin in 1928, when a portion of his Petri dishes got defiled with shape, Penicillium notatum.
