Karni Singh Born

Maharaja Karni Singh also known as Dr. Karni Singh was the last Maharaja of Bikaner state. He was also a politician, serving as a member of the Lok Sabha for twenty-five years, from 1952 to 1977.

Odisha CM Sadashiva Tripathy born

Born in Nabarangpur, Odisha, Sadashiva Tripathy (1910–1980) was an Indian politician, a leader of the Indian National Congress political party and the Chief Minister of Odisha from 21 February 1965 to 8 March 1967

1: Texian war f of Independence

Like India most of the world countries were not independent in the past and fight for independence has to suck the blood of that country, the same has happened with Texas. Modern-day Texas was never like it before. On this day of 1836, in its war of independence, the Texas military launched a surprise attack against the forces of Mexican General Santa Anna. The attack was a huge success for the Texas militia.

2: Red Baron got killed  

 With 80 victories under his belt, Richthofen penetrated deep into Allied territory on April 21, 1918, in pursuit of a British aircraft. The Red Baron was flying too near the ground–an Australian gunner shot him through his chest resulting in crashing his plane into a field alongside the road from Corbie to Bray. Richthofen was known for surpassing all flying ace records on both sides of the western front and began using a Fokker triplane in 1917.

3: The Chinese student’s protests

It is being said that students the students are the most vulnerable community to any revolution through the world and this day in 1989 supported the statement. On this day Beijing’s Tiananmen square, some 100,000 students gather to commemorate Hu Yaobang’s death. Hu was a reformist of the communist leader of the Chinese Communist Party.

4: Abraham Lincoln’s Funeral Train

The famous among all the USA presidents Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on this day in 1865, a train carrying the coffin of assassinated President Abraham leaves Washington, D.C. on its way to Springfield, Illinois, where he was buried on May 4.The train carrying Lincoln’s body traveled through 180 cities and seven states to reach to Lincoln’s home state Illinois.

5: Birth of Bronte

Charlotte Brontë, one of three novelist Brontë sisters to live past age 31, was born. Brontë, one of six siblings who grew up in a gloomy parsonage in the remote English village of Hawthorne, surrounded by the marshy moors of Yorkshire. Charlotte’s two older sisters died of illness while at school, and the grim institution found its way into her masterpiece Jane Eyre (1847).
