Birth Anniversary of Sir C.V. Raman (1888)

Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman (7 November 1888 – 21 November 1970) was an Indian physicist who made notable works in the field of light scattering. With his student K. S. Krishnan, he found that when light crosses a straightforward material, a portion of the diverted light changes frequency and abundance.
